CARPAL TUNNEL BAND ALBUM LAUNCH // ROMCOM & SIGNAL CHAIN // AT THE LAST CHANCE
The Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar (North Melbourne, VIC)
Saturday, 4 May 2024 7:30 pm
After spending their inception stridently liaising within the decrepit walls of Melbourne's music venues. 4 piece rock group Carpal Tunnel Band are launching their debut album at The Last Chance on May 4th.
Releasing April 12th via Stargazed Records, their self-titled album is a 45 minute oeuvre of relentless restlessness. Juggling branding irons of punk rock, hard core and post-punk. Carpal Tunnel showcase their volatile sensibilities which have grown to become their distinguished sound.
Joining on the night will be:
ROMCOM:
A noisy no wave/post-punk group with members plucked from rural Victoria and Melbourne/Naarm. Blending distorted guitars, frenetic vocals and big, heavy horns.
Signal Chain:
Sonic rumblings - Post punk, Folk and Straight Rock served straight up in a Lipstick
Tube Jangle.
Lead by songwriter Holly Alexander (Rhythm Guitar/Vox) with Lynn Sendy-Smithers (Bass)
Patrick Bede Kelly (Drums) and Citizen Zane (12 String Lead Guitar/Back Vox)
This event takes place on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation.
$15 presale / $20 on the door
